Lib Dems launch save Ipswich NHS campaign12.47.14pm GMT Sun 21st May 2006
Ipswich Lib Dems have launched a petition to stop local NHS cuts The 4 point petition calls on: 1)Government to immediately stop demanding £40m cuts in Primary Care Trusts budgets imposed after last year's General Election 2)Government to make good 9% funding formula shortfall for Suffolk which leaves Ipswich shortchanged 3)Minister Patricia Hewitt 'call - in' decisions to close Community Hospitals and all Mental Health facility cuts. 4)Ipswich Labour MP and Councillors to fight for our NHS staff and Hospitals rather than sit on their hands.
