Local Lib Dem Councillors including George King want to see Rudolph return this year

Every Christmas Ipswich Round Table have toured the Town with their Father Christmas and Rudolph float. This has brought much cheer to all who have seen it. Unfortunately last year a minority spoiled it on the Whitehouse Estate and threw missiles at the float and the volunteers. The Round Table may not now visit Whitehouse this year.

Cllr. George King said: I'm quite annoyed by this. They are going out for a good cause to help so many people. It is always the less fortunate who suffer in the long run and it also spoils the enjoyment of young children who want to stand on the doorstep and wave as it comes by.

Local Councillor George will be speaking to The Round Table to see if there is a possibility of the float returning with a police escort.
