Ipswich - a Fair Trade Town!

Fairtrade Fortnight

Ipswich is celebrating after the announcement in 'Fairtrade Fortnight' that it has become a Fairtrade Town.

Lib Dem Mayor of Ipswich, Inga Lockington said "This is a massive achievement. Not only is it a

recognition of the work undertaken but also a signal that this is the start

of the journey in making Ipswich a truly Fairtrade town."

Fairtrade Ipswich has been achieved by broad cross-section of politicians (of all parties) residents and other stakeholders. It is a real collaborative effort. The Lib Dems have been represented by Cllr. Tony James
