Upper Brook Street to be given new look in conjunction with new Gas Main

Upper Brook Street is set for a Spring makeover.

National Grid has planned for some time to undertake main replacement works beneath Upper Brook Street. The Borough Council is joining forces to upgrade the area at the same time in order to minimise disruption.

Improvements will include new road surfaces, paving and lighting.

By working together, the Borough Council and National Grid will be rolling

what would have been seven months of work into just 16 weeks. Throughout, pedestrian access to

Upper Brook Street will be maintained.
