As highlighted in the East Anglian Daily Times recently local Lib Dem Andrew Cann has uncovered Tory failure to reduce mileage at Suffolk County Council.

Two years ago Andrew challenged the Tory administrations plans to increase business mileage beyond 20 million miles per annum. The Tories quickly backtracked and promised to reduce mileage however the figure has hardly moved. Local Lib Dems have now pledged to make one fifth of the council business journeys by greener methods to show our willing. So far neither of the other political groups have made the same pledge.
